Miss Universe Pageant A Success For The Bahamas
After all the hustle and bustle has calmed down, we can truly say that playing host to the Miss Universe 2009 Pageant was a resounding success.
This pageant was aired Live on NBC and was streamed live over the internet, bringing us an international audience of an astounding size. The Miss Universe organization were able to show the world that The Bahamas is more than just Nassau, with the contestants visiting many of our “Family Islands” including Harbour Island, Abaco, Exuma, Grand Bahama, and Andros.
Overall, this pageant provided The Islands of The Bahamas with some great publicity which will hopefully lead to a great year of tourism for 2010!
