Titus de Boer was born in 1966, in Hamburg, Germany. He spent the formative years of his childhood in Antigua, returning to Germany in 1978. After attending the International School of Hamburg, he worked in journalism for two years until founding his first business in 1988. In late 1989, Titus moved to the Turks and Caicos Islands where he founded the country's first professional fine arts gallery. From 2004-2009 Titus worked in the field of property development and real estate sales and marketing, in various capacities. In 2009, he began working as a business consultant for domestic as well as international clients. From 2014-2015 he took on a fine arts sales consultancy for a leading UK fine arts publisher, returning to the Turks and Caicos in late 2015. Titus has served his community in various roles. He was President of the Providenciales Chamber of Commerce (2001-2004) as well as the German Honorary Consul (2007-2013). He is a Notary Public of the Turks and Caicos as well as a columnist for one of the country's newspapers. Titus' hobbies include sailing, hiking, writing short stories and singing jazz. Titus lives in Salt Cay and has a son and a daughter, Lucas and Elphina.
