Even if Thanksgiving isn’t a Bahamian Holiday
We all have a lot to be thankful for, but year round welcoming weather, stunning waters and vibrant people all amidst a treasure map of 700 islands with endless options for boating, fishing, diving, surfing and exploring make those that are fortunate enough to call The Bahamas home exceptionally blessed.
If you are fortunate enough to live in The Bahamas you enjoy island living in The Caribbean nation with the highest gross national income per capita.

HG Christie agents work tirelessly to deliver exceptional client service and to uphold their renown as, “The Trusted Authority in Bahamas Real Estate”. Yet, without gratitude and the ability to stop and reflect on those things that are important in our lives, the renown and efforts fall flat. It is in that spirit, that the HG Christie Ltd. Associates and exclusive Christie’s International Real Estate Affiliates for The Bahamas, take a moment to stop and smell the ‘Yellow Elders’ and share some gratitude thoughts with you…

I am grateful for the opportunity to interact with amazing people everyday, whether it is my team, my clients, my band or those I love: being aware of the abundant blessings The Bahamas and my life provide allow me to ‘boldly dare to BE’ at all Times! And for that I am truly grateful!

I’m most grateful for being allowed to call this incredibly beautiful nation “home”. Not one day passes that I don’t appreciate the unique beauty it offers and how blessed I am to experience it on a daily basis.

This year has been a very rewarding year for me both professionally and personally, and as I look back, I am very grateful to know and share that if you put in the effort and are able to stay focused, and do not lose sight of your goals, you can certainly attain them! That, along with my beautiful family, and being blessed to live within the magical little island community of Hope Town, Elbow Cay, I must admit, that life is indeed good . . .

Thanksgiving was my mother’s favourite Holiday. I believe she fed everyone we knew that didn’t have family to celebrate with! I am grateful for her gracious and adventurous spirit that brought me to the shores of Eleuthera, a community that has embraced me and provided an amazing place for me and my amazing family to grow and thrive.

I am grateful for the beautiful island of Windermere where my family has a beachfront condo. I was there last week and here are some photos of the newly renovated apartments that look out to the gorgeous miles long pink sand Windermere Beach. I grew up visiting the island when my uncle had a hotel here and I have many fond memories of spending time in the library and hearing the local choir come to sing in the evenings.
