Piece of Paradise | Chimney Hill House

AS12956-3In Little Harbor, Abaco resides a not-so-little vacation spot that is just divine! On an acre of lush land, this 2,420 sq. ft. building on Chimney’s Hill house’s pure quality. From the start one can see that it has three floors, each holding something special. On the first floor, it holds an apartment that has both a bedroom and a bathroom. On the second level, one would have three bedrooms and two bathrooms, including the laundry (so worrying about messy clothes is a non-issue)! The last, but in no way least, the third floor holds a galley-style kitchen and pantry, with a half bathroom. But that’s not all! The floor is designed so that anyone would have a breathtaking sight of the Atlantic Ocean to Little Harbor!

Back to the bedroom aspect, the master bedroom resides on the second floor. Within it, is a private bathroom (which has a spacious shower and conserves water via the double heads installed in it), a lovely walk-in closet, and bay windows that showcase the serene sea next to it. That isn’t to say the guest bedrooms on the floor are chopped liver, as they also have sliding glass doors that allow anyone to head out towards a south-facing balcony.

AS12956-2The house itself is a custom construction created by Abaco’s own top-tier and creative craftsmen! In addition, its flooring is built with terra cotta, both doors and windows are made up of vinyl, and the lighting is installed to be as energy-efficient as possible. The house also has a private dock slip for vessels of about 30 ft! Speaking of energy efficiency, the house has its own 48-volt 4.8kw solar electricity system, 10,000-gallon water storage, seamless guttering metal roof, and even a propane water heater! A house designed under the phrase: efficient ease!

The area surrounding the house is filled with prestigious and esteemed businesses and organizations. Ranging from the exclusive members-only golf club in Winding Bay, known as the Abaco Club, to the world-renowned Pete’s Pub and, for those with an artistic side to them, one would have the option of visiting the Sculpture Gallery. If those hotspots aren’t to your liking, enjoy the gorgeous beach for your leisure! From a dip in the ocean to fishing for the unique marine life, the Bahamas holds to even getting in touch with your adventurous side and tackling the Blue Holes: when it comes to the aquatic side of island life you will never be bored!

AS12956-4With all this and more, the only minor ‘wrinkles’ would be that it comes partially furnished and needs a bit of touching upon. But with a chance to live in such a cosy home and amongst a great community in Little Harbour, both are merely minor issues! To live in yourself or to rent out as a potential vacation spot, this beloved home is worth $1,000,000! With all details known, surely it can be said that it is a million-dollar home!

  • OMG! I truly salute you for showing us that it is indeed possible for home owners to establish a private dock for certain types of water transportation as long as it’s weatherproof. My husband’s step-uncle just bought a fancy beachfront holiday house recently and he thinks it would be better if he adds a structure to accommodate his boat as well. I’ll show him this article so he’d be more convinced to order a suitable installation soon.
