Franklyn Knowles

Frank was born in Nassau, Bahamas in 1972 which is where he spent his childhood and finished high school at St Augustine's College. Since about the age of eleven, summers were spent in Abaco, particularly Hope Town, which is where his grandparents had a home and he is a direct descendant of the first settlers of the island. He quickly became very fond of the islands, the communities, and the lifestyle they offered. As soon as he had his first opportunity as a young man, he packed up his belongings, put them on the mail boat, and off to Abaco he went to make Hope Town his permanent home. Frank has been in Hope Town ever since, where he met his wife and started a family, has been an active community member and an entrepreneur of sorts with the family business. For many years he has observed the growth of the Abacos as a premier vacation destination and a haven for second homeowners. If you are a resident or a return visitor, you may know him well. In 2003 he got an opportunity to enter into real estate sales, and it seemed a no-brainer for him because of his intimate knowledge of Abaco, its Cays and history, as well as its inhabitants.
