Angela was born and brought up in the county of Cheshire in England then moved to the south for 5 years to the Universities of Southampton and London where she studied English language and litearature. After lecturing for 2 years in both subjects, Angela decided to go in search of sun and adventure and moved to the beautiful Bahama islands where she continued to teach and travel for many happy years. However, having bought a cottage on the magical island of Eleuthera, Angela decided on another adventure once more, moving to live there full time and accepting a job with the prestigious firm of HG Christie. Angela finds real estate to be a fascinating learning experience, especially from a legal perspective, and as there is always plenty to learn, it is challenging and exciting. As a former educator, Angela loves to help people and believes passionately that providing knowledge to clients is the key to making the right purchase. Angela loves travelling, particularly in Europe and experiencing different cultures. She is a voracious reader, loves taking her dogs for walks on the beaches in Eleuthera and speaks French.

It is with regret that we have not previously sent this note of appreciation for a job well done in the recent sale of our North Palmetto Point property in Eleuthera (SeaDuced Villa).


My spouse and I firmly believe in complimenting individuals for outstanding performance. After watching HGTV's Bahamas Life for several seasons, we always said that if we ever needed to work with a realtor in Eleuthera, it would be Angela Darville. I happened to be in the local BTC office (Governor's Harbor) when I first encountered this "celebrity". After some some basic conversation, Angela inquired about our living status. I explained to her that we were 'on the fence' whether or not to sell our property that we recently built.


Shortly thereafter, Angela contacted us to let us know that she had a client that was looking for a long term lease. Leasing the property long term was not our first option and appeared undesirable. However, with Angela's primary leadership we agreed to list the home for sale. As it turned out, Angela's suggestion for a price point was spot on! The previous day we had heard from another local realtor (competitor) that recommended a purchase price for over a million US $ less. Angela knew the market and was aware of this properties' value. Her first showing turned out to end in a full price offer.


We were worried about selling a home internationally, but Angela frequently communicated with us and made this a fairly easy and painless process. We plan on coming back to Eleuthera and who knows, we may endeavor upon another building project. I can assure you that we will seek out Angela Darville's services should we ever need a realtor again.
